Company ProfileOriginally, the company was founded in 1962. The business grew serving many markets in various applications. In those early years, a strong emphasis was placed on design capability, to design a custom product that would meet application requirements and allow volume production at a reasonable cost. Engineering and Customer service contribution was a key focus back then, and it still is today. Every item we produce is important to us as it is to our customer. We focus on 100% electrical testing with computer automated test capability. All key mechanical requirements are measured or gauged. Our commitment to quality and pride in manufacturing capability insures a highly reliable product that functions precisely as ordered. We believe our quality translates to satisfied customers. Now as its fourth owners, my wife and I are pleased to pick up the baton and continue to move forward. Despite the ever increasing shift towards offshore sites that many manufacturers have undertaken, we are finding that new and old customers still put a value on high quality, reliable products with short delivery cycles made in America. We are fortunate that Custom Coil & Transformer sells to many of the top industries throughout the world. Today, customers have been driven to lower costs with offshore manufacturing on their higher volume products. We understand this, and work with many to provide a 25 plus year Engineering expertise in custom magnetic products, and to develop product specifications, as well as prototypes and initial or "in between the boat" volume runs as required.
